If you’re looking for some of the best snowboarding and skiing Blue Mountains has to offer, Alpine Ski Club should be your next destination. Alpine’s 120 acres of immaculately groomed trails and 760 feet of elevation are home to 37 runs served by five lifts. Generations of Alpine members come together to build enduring relationships and nurture memories centered upon a shared passion for a healthy, active lifestyle.
Our terrain is unusually diverse, carved creatively from three faces of the Escarpment. The hill is organized progressively so that each consecutive lift serves increasingly more challenging terrain. The runs advance in difficulty lift by lift, from a protected beginner area with magic carpet (and clubhouse gallery seating) to five double black diamond expert runs aptly named The Steeps. A high-speed six-person chair and three quad chairs keep the lift lines short, especially in light of capped membership.
Envied conditions are maintained through advanced snowmaking and skilled grooming. Race dedicated hills are outfitted with electronic scoreboards, sound systems, and all the trapping of official events. For those so inclined, kilometres of marked snowshoe trails and an outdoor skating rink provide added variety to your winter adventures.
There is a program for everyone regardless of age or ability, staffed by national-calibre instructors and coaches, cultivating world-class athletes in skiing, snowboarding, and freestyle. Alpine is dedicated to supporting its athletes on the provincial, national, and international stage and are thrilled to have had four athletes and coaches represented on the Canadian Olympic team over the years. These athletes proudly called Alpine their home base, training on our slopes and Ontario’s last remaining half pipe from a young age.
Indoors, the enjoyment continues with a rich social calendar hosted in our expansive, modern clubhouse. Après ski activities are organized for children, teens, and families to continue the memory-making fun.

Sustainability at Alpine
Alpine Ski Club has signed the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge, to demonstrate our commitment to improving the sustainability performance of our business between now and 2030. The UN World Tourism Organization defines sustainable tourism as “tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.”
We have recently added Sustainability to the Infrastructure portfolio among our Board of Directors and have established a member volunteer Sustainability Committee. Going forward, we are committed to setting measurable goals and objectives and keeping our members, informed of our progress. Starting in 2025, we will share an annual Sustainability Report as part of the fall Strategic Plan Update, outlining our goals, objectives, and key performance indicators to track our journey toward a sustainable future.
We encourage our community to actively participate in our sustainability efforts, the focus of which is outlined in the topics below.
- Energy Consumption: reduce overall energy usage and switch to renewable sources, where possible.
- Waste Management: minimize waste generation and promote recycling and composting.
- Carbon Footprint: offset carbon emissions through sustainable practices and carbon reduction initiatives.
- Sustainable Land Use: protect the natural landscape while ensuring it remains accessible and enjoyable.
- Foster Community Engagement and Education: build a community that is actively involved in sustainability and aware of environmental challenges facing our Club and industry.
