About Us
Alpine Ski Club

Founded in 1960, Alpine Ski Club boasts 384 acres of unique terrain, modern amenities, and world-class programs in both skiing and snowboarding.

If you’re looking for some of the best snowboarding and skiing Blue Mountains has to offer, Alpine Ski Club should be your next destination. Alpine’s 120 acres of immaculately groomed trails and 760 feet of elevation are home to 37 runs served by five lifts. Generations of Alpine members come together to build enduring relationships and nurture memories centered upon a shared passion for a healthy, active lifestyle.

Our terrain is unusually diverse, carved creatively from three faces of the Escarpment. The hill is organized progressively so that each consecutive lift serves increasingly more challenging terrain. The runs advance in difficulty lift by lift, from a protected beginner area with magic carpet (and clubhouse gallery seating) to five double black diamond expert runs aptly named The Steeps. A high-speed six-person chair and three quad chairs keep the lift lines short, especially in light of capped membership.

Envied conditions are maintained through advanced snowmaking and skilled grooming. Race dedicated hills are outfitted with electronic scoreboards, sound systems, and all the trapping of official events. For those so inclined, kilometres of marked snowshoe trails and an outdoor skating rink provide added variety to your winter adventures.

There is a program for everyone regardless of age or ability, staffed by national-calibre instructors and coaches, cultivating world-class athletes in skiing, snowboarding, and freestyle. Alpine is dedicated to supporting its athletes on the provincial, national, and international stage and are thrilled to have had four athletes and coaches represented on the Canadian Olympic team over the years. These athletes proudly called Alpine their home base, training on our slopes and Ontario’s last remaining half pipe from a young age.

Indoors, the enjoyment continues with a rich social calendar hosted in our expansive, modern clubhouse. Après ski activities are organized for children, teens, and families to continue the memory-making fun.
