Alpine Ski Club's junior snowboard programs help young riders build confidence, develop strong technical skills, and enjoy snowboarding in a fun and supportive learning environment.

Alpine’s recreational snowboarding programs offer consistent snowboard lessons over a 9-week period, helping young members develop a connection to the sport while enjoying the friendships, experiences, and adventures that make winter at Alpine so memorable.

Slopeside Shredders | 3-5 yrs

Kids are introduced to basic mobility and the skills of stance and balance with snowboard lessons on Square One (Magic Carpet). Geared to beginners. Equipment not included.

Note: Participants must be toilet trained.

For snowboarders who want to improve through fun-filled, skill-enhancing games and activities using all the terrain they can safely handle as their playground. Participants should be able to ride the chairlift with some assistance.

Note: Participants must be toilet trained.

All levels welcome, beginner to advanced. These snowboard lessons teach the fundamental skills for becoming a better rider. Geared towards those not interested in competing.

This weekend program consists of 5 weeks of snowboard lessons followed by 4 weeks of of ski lessons. Classes for each session are structured according to technical ability and may be adjusted when participants change from snowboarding to skiing.

This program provides a range of snowboard lessons, including an introduction to SBX (boardercross), freestyle (halfpipe & terrain park) as well as alpine racing. There will be some in-house competition, but the primary objective will be to expose athletes to the various skills required for each discipline.

The team will focus on entry-level competitions and will not attend the GROMS Series events. Athletes must be able to ride all lifts and hills.
