Guidelines

We want your child’s time in the Little Kids’ Club to be a happy experience. Please follow the LKC policies; they are for your child’s safety.

  • No children who are sick, ailing with colds, flu or infections are accepted into the Little Kids’ Club. A “well child check” is completed daily by the staff and the LKC Supervisor will make any wellness decisions.
  • Parents/Guardians must remain at the Club and provide a cell phone number upon sign-in when using the LKC. Failure to do so will mean that your family will not be permitted to use the LKC in the future.
  • Staff/Child ratio is based on appropriate guidelines for a playroom facility. The Club reserves the right to charge an additional fee (to be determined on an individual basis) if a child requires extra supervision for medical or other reasons.
  • Parents will be asked to pick up any child who is uncomfortable in the LKC, at the LKC Supervisor’s discretion. This includes discomfort shown in excess and disruptive behavior in excess.
  • Only the parent/guardian or prearranged caregiver may sign the child in or out of the LKC. Direct communication regarding any changes to the designated sign-in/sign-out parent or guardian is required with Supervisor and/or Assistant.
  • The Playroom is a nut free and sugar free zone.
  • Parents/guardians who fail to pick up their children by: AM session 12:00pm, PM/all-day session 4:00pm will pay an additional penalty fee of $1.00 for every minute they are late. The charge will be applied directly to your member account.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

  • Advise the LKC Supervisor of any medical condition or allergies a child may have. LKC staff do not administer over-the-counter medications to children. Prescription medication must be provided in its original container with a label fully intact (showing patient name and dosing) and parents must come to the LKC to administer.
  • Dress and undress their child and place clothing and boots in cubbies and/or hooks.
  • Supply a complete change of clothing, for toddlers and infants, along with blankets and personal necessities daily including diapers and wipes. We do not supply diapers and wipes.
  • Label all the child’s belongings; bottles, diaper bags, blankets, snowsuits, boots etc.
  • Provide labeled bottles for all infants, nursing babies included. No glass bottles please!
  • Follow the sign-in/sign-out LKC policy and provide LKC staff with direct communication regarding any changes to the designated sign-in/sign-out parent or guardian.
  • Make sure the LKC staff is aware of your child’s attendance. No “drop offs” please.
  • Pick up child by: AM session 12:00pm, PM/all-day session 4:00pm. For all day session, parents must take their child(ren) out of the LKC for a 1-hour lunch break. This time is to be pre-arranged daily with the LKC Supervisor at daily drop off.
  • Provide a cell phone number to LKC staff at sign in desk.

Parents will be required to confirm that they have read and understand all LKC guidelines including the medication guidelines and agree to abide by these conditions in order to use Little Kids’ Club.
