Alpine is proud to offer the only snowboard racing program across private ski clubs in Ontario, and has become known internationally for the strength of this program and the athletes training out of the Club.
The 2026-27 High-Performance Programs Guide will be available in June, alongside registration. The complete Programs Guide will be available in September.

High Performance Snowboard Racing | 15+
Tailored to student athletes competing on the NorAm and FIS level, this program seeks to elevate training efforts and customizes the content for each athlete, including a development plan that incorporates technical development, strength and conditioning guidance, and nutrition.

NEW University Flex Snowboard Racing | 17+
Athletes currently enrolled in a Canadian University, College or Trade School who plan to continue competing in the NorAm Cup Circuit can enroll in this new program and train alongside our High Performance Snowboard Racing Program. This program operates on a day rate to maintain flexibility between athletes’ studies and competition schedules.

High Performance Athlete Spotlights
The competitive snowboard racing pathway at Alpine has helped develop a wide range of athletes over the years. Get to know some of the snowboard racers who have trained with Alpine’s snowboard racing programs in recent years, and what their experience has been like as they push towards their goals on snow.
Ben Heldman, a member of the Canada Snowboard Alpine National Team & 2026 Winter Olympian, has been chasing his dreams to represent Canada on the international stage since first picking up a snowboard at age 7.

Intro to Snowboard Racing | 8+
This weekend program is for kids comfortable with intermediate snowboard skills who are looking to become more confident riders on all terrain while learning basic racing skills. Zero race experience is required, and there is no need for race-specific equipment.

Junior Snowboard Racing | 12+
This weekend program builds on skills learned in the Intro Program. Riders will be introduced to Ontario Snowboard races, with the option to participate in Canada/US Jr. Nationals and a USASA event in Holiday Valley.
