This program gives children of full-voting members a flexible pathway to secure their own future at Alpine. Whether they’re still in school, building their careers, travelling, or not yet ready for a full commitment, the Next Generation Program ensures Alpine can stay a part of their lives well into adulthood.
It’s simple: Commit early if they’re ready, wait if they’re not — the program makes space for every life stage.
How the Program Works:
Children of full-voting members are considered part of the family membership until age 30. At that point, their membership privileges pause unless they choose a pathway that keeps them connected.
The Next Generation Program provides flexible options to suit their needs:
Option 1: Remain a Dependant
- No initiation yet.
- Keep skiing/riding as a dependant until age 30.
- No initiation fee.
- Annual badge activation is optional.
- When ready (up to age 40), upgrade to Intermediate Membership or Full-Voting Membership.
Option 2: Become an Intermediate Member
- Commit early and save long-term.
- Can join any time from birth to age 39.
- Pay a pro-rated percentage of the initiation fee up front.
- Annual badge activation is optional up to age 30 and is charged at the same rate as dependants until age 30.
- After age 30, option to park their membership for up to 5 seasons within the decade (still members with Intermediate benefits, just not skiing).
- No additional initiation fee required later to convert to full-voting.
- Convert to full-voting member any time between 18–40.
This option is ideal for those who want to secure their future at Alpine early and maintain flexibility as life evolves.
Option 3: Full-Voting Membership
This full membership category comes with:
- Available anytime after 18.
- Voting rights to have their say in the future of the Club.
- Ability to add their own children to the membership.
- Must activate badge annually.
- No additional initiation fee required unless converting from dependant status.
- Responsible for levies if applicable.

Please note:
- If the family initiation fee changes, the age-relevant fee will change accordingly.
- Initiation fee may be paid by way of a one-time full payment or by an interest free installment plan of three equal payments over 24 months.
