Jessica & Jake

We met through mutual friends, and over eight and a half years, our love has only grown stronger. Now, just a few months into marriage, we’re embracing this next chapter with excitement, joy, and all the little quirks that make our bond so special.

Our engagement was straight out of a dream. In August 2023, during a California Coast road trip, we stopped in Napa for a few winery tours. At Ashes and Diamonds, Jake surprised Jess with a private wine tasting overlooking the vineyards. Four glasses in, completely relaxed and surrounded by nature, Jake proposed in the most magical setting.

Choosing our wedding venue was effortless. Jess has been a member of Alpine Ski Club since she was two, and given our love for winter, a snow-covered wedding felt perfect. We envisioned a romantic winter wonderland, and Alpine delivered in every way. We wanted our day to feel warm, inviting, and full of energy-where friends and family could dance, celebrate, and share in our love. Stunning florals added to the ambiance, creating a magical winter aesthetic.

Planning was smooth, thanks to our incredible wedding planner, Amanda. Jess took the lead on coordination, while Jake stepped in for key decisions. We kept a stress-free mindset, focusing on the big picture rather than small details, trusting that everything would come together perfectly.

The emotions of the wedding weekend were unforgettable. The night before, the excitement set in, and by the morning of, we felt calm and present. Seeing each other for the first time, surrounded by all our loved ones, was the most surreal moment. The next morning we relived every second before jetting off to Thailand for our honeymoon, keeping the wedding magic alive just a little longer.

Looking back, one of the best moments was getting ready with our closest family and friends before that first look. It was the perfect start to a perfect day, and the beginning of a lifetime of love.
