Club Championships Schedule and Information

Click the link below for the schedule for Club Championships on March 7 & 8.

Junior Club Championships:

Bib pickup (for athletes not on a racing team ONLY): Saturday, March 7 8:30-10:00am.

Athletes participating in multiple events will be asked to keep their bibs until their final event concludes. 

March 7:

  • 10:00 GS on Kent for U8/U10, on Challenge for U12+.
  • 1:00pm SL on Kent for U8/U10, Challenge for U12+.
  • 5:00pm Night Dual SL on Lower Alpine U8+ (must qualify).

Additional Information:

  • The Club Champs results will be based on combined time of your GS and SL runs.
  • If a competitor does not cross the finish line, they are entitled to another run (maximum of 1 re-run per discipline). The coach should instruct them to go back to the top for another run at the completion of all competitors in the first run.
  • Evening dual PSL qualifying race will be based on athletes SL (U12+) or PSL (U8/U10) times. Top 16 males and top 16 females from each age category will qualify.
  • Evening dual – single run head-to-head until small and big final. Inspection at 4:30pm and 5:00pm start.
  • Dual small final and big final – to decide third, second and first there will be one run in each course to decide the winners. 
  • Coaches will focus on guiding and supporting their athletes during the event and will not be participating in the races themselves.

March 8:

Ski Cross: 10:00am Qualifier, 1:00pm Finals on Lower Parade 

  • Ski cross results will be based on a single qualifier run (no reruns). 
  • The finals will be a single run, head-to-head.
  • The top 3 males and top 3 females from each age category will qualify for the finals.
  • Coaches will focus on guiding and supporting their athletes during the event and will not be participating in the races themselves.

Awards: 

  • 2:00-3:00pm in Ascot Hall.  
  • Podium and award photos will be taken by the Club and posted in the following race bulletin on Thursday, March 12.

Adult Club Championships:

It is that time of year again! We are starting to compile our order for next year’s Karbon uniforms for racing athletes! Please fill in the form linked below and return it to Parker by end of day Friday, March 13


Special Parent Information Meetings – U12 All Inclusive and OCup 

Please join us for the following parent meetings to discuss our competitive pathway programs for the 2026/27 season:

  • U12 All Inclusive – March 14 at 10:00am in the Arrowhead Room 
  • U14 OCup – March 14 at 2:00pm in the Arrowhead Room 

U14 & U16 OCup Hintertux, Austria Camp 

Once we again we will be offering a Hintertux, Austria Pre-Season Camp for our U14 and U16 OCup athletes from October 31 to November 13. This is a great opportunity for additional training prior to the winter competition phase and provides a great personal growth experience for the athletes. 

Join our Lead OCup coaches Wayne Howard and Erin Flynn for this amazing camp opportunity!

Interclub Finals – Hethrington & Ridge Cup

Our Alpine adults have won the Hethrington Cup for the third season in a row! Congratulations to all athletes.

After an incredible race last Saturday, Alpine finished in second place for the Ridge Cup, just one point shy of first place!

Highlights of the Day:

  • Alpine placed 8 racers in the top 10 fastest male times and 20 in the top 25.
  • Alpine’s top three fastest males:
    • Ben Williamson – 2nd fastest overall
    • Jordon Kofman – 3rd fastest overall
    • Mike McTaggart – 4th fastest overall
  • Alpine’s top three fastest females:
    • Alex Thayer – 2nd fastest female
    • Steph Lachance-Coward – 3rd fastest female
    • Emily Gwin – 5th fastest female
  • Top three male point earners:
    • Jeff Parr – 30 points
    • Karol Slabon – 28 points
    • Brian Daub – 26 points
  • Top female point earners:
    • Linda Leistner and Laura Libby – tied for first with 23 points
    • Sheri Ramsaw, Steph Lachance-Coward, and Alex Thayer – tied for second with 22 points
