Pre-Season Camp Updates
Sun Peaks, BC
A message from Coach Chris: Everyone has had a fantastic week of technical free skiing and gate training at Sun Peaks. The conditions have been great with lots of runs open for our teams to work on technical skills. The Race Center has provided great conditions for gate training. All participants are getting valuable pre-season milage and team building with coaches and peers. Our Athlete Wellness Program is helping prepare our competitive pathway OCup athletes for a successful race season and it has been a beneficial personal growth experience for all participants.Â
Mont Tremblant, QC
A message from Coach Tannis: What an EPIC first day at Mont Tremblant! We showed the locals that Alpine is ALL IN for first Gondolas, and took our spots at the front of the line before they even dropped the rope and opened the gate! The conditions are fantastic, albeit a tad chilly in the morning, and there are more runs open than last year. The locals say it is the most snow they have had at this time of year for a while! We look forward to seeing our U10 and U12 athletes progress by leaps and bounds over the week.  Merci Alpine! Â
Adult Race Training
We are excited to announce this season’s adult race training dates and coaching staff! This season your coaches will be the always enthusiastic and highly experienced, Derek Crawford, and former Canadian Ski Team Member and Olympian, Brad King.
Adult Race Training Dates:Â January 11, 18, 25 and February 8, 15, 22 on Sunday mornings from 9:00am to 11:30amÂ
On these training days, meet your coaches at the podium. Please check the weekly Programs Bulletins for hillspace.

Race Schedules
Race schedules for the season are now available! Please take a moment to review your athlete’s schedule and make note of important dates.
Race Uniform Pickup
If you placed a Karbon order with Alpine in the spring for a race uniform, your gear is now ready for pickup! Please stop by the Programs Office during operating hours Wednesday-Sunday, 8:30am-4:30pm to collect your uniform.

AOA Registration
In order to race this season, your athlete must be registered for AOA and dues must be paid. AOA membership is mandatory for all racers U10 and older. U8s may choose to pay the supporter fee.

Important Dates
Mark your calendars for these key dates as we head into the season:
- December 24 – Holiday team lists with assigned coaches will be announced
- January 2 – Race simulation for all junior ski racers (panelled slalom)
- January 8 – Season team lists with assigned coaches will be announced
- March 7 – Jr Club Championships (U8 – U18) GS, SL and Night Dual (must qualify)
- March 8 – Skier Cross Qualifiers (AM) and Finals (PM) – awards in the Athletes’ Room following U18 Finals
- March 8 – Adult Club Championships GS (AM), SL (PM)
