SBX/SX Club Championships
This Sunday we have our SBX/Ski Cross Club Champs on Sunday. Please see the schedule attached.
For those that are not registered in a participating program and would like to compete, please contact Krista or visit the Programs Office before 3:30pm on Saturday.
If you have a bib from the GS or Slopestyle event, please be sure to return them to the Programs Office. A $50 replacement fee will be charged for ALL missing bibs.
Friday Training This Week – Cancelled
Please note that snowboard and freeski Friday training is cancelled this Friday, February 27. We hope to see you next Friday!

Pipe Jam
From seasoned park & pipe vets to first-time skiers and snowboarders alike – this is your moment to drop-in with some legends! Join us Saturday, March 14 for the return of our annual OG Pipe Jam, where style, progression, and a sense of community take center stage in the halfpipe.
Tickets for members are $35, open to all ages, all skill levels, and all disciplines (ski & snowboard). Minors must be accompanied by an adult on the day of the event.

RAD Halfpipe Camp & Friday Training
Riders Advancement and Development Program Halfpipe Camp
Join us March 6 & 12 for a halfpipe training opportunity with RAD Coach Trevor Niblett. He will be leading morning and afternoon training sessions with the goal to introduce halfpipe for athletes and coaches.
For Alpine members, it is free to register for those in Friday Training – please note the Friday Training rate applies. All athletes must be accompanied by a coach.
Friday Training Registration:
As a part of Friday Training this week, riders will take part in the RAD Camp! Please be sure to register your rider for the camp, as well as contact Steve to register for Friday training. A minimum number of athletes is required in order for Friday Training to run, so early registration is appreciated.
All athletes also need to register for a limited activity membership through Canada Snowboard. Visit the link below for more info and registration:

March Break Camps
New this season, we will be opening our Freestyle March Break Camp for both skiing and snowboarding to other private clubs.
The camp will feature coaching on free ride techniques, stance and balance drills, switch riding and of course, park riding for all levels of skiers and snowboards. We have a wide variety of terrain to ride on including 6 different terrain zones and the halfpipe!
To finish off the camp, we will have a Park Jam on Friday, March 20 for all those registered, with prizing for not only the top riders, but also a sportsmanship award and more!

Congratulations to Alpine Snowboard Racers
Alpine Snowboard Racers Secure Overall NorAm Podium and Personal World Cup Slots for 2026/27 Season
This past week, the NorAm Cup reached a climactic finale in Holiday Valley, New York, with 6 Men and 10 Women still in the race for the top 3 overall standings going into the final stop on the tour. The personal start spots on the VISA FIS Alpine Snowboarding World Cup 2026/27 season that come with a podium finish were also on the line heading into this final race.
Congratulations to Luke Hune for finishing 2nd overall in the final Men’s standings and Carmen McRae who finished 3rd overall; a personal best for both riders.
Other Alpine Ski Club racers rounding out the top 16 include Luis Freeman (5th – Men), Matthew Heldman (6th – Men), and Cole Thomson (8th – Men) as well as Sienna Cader (14th – Women) and Rowan Sweeney (15th – Women).


Alpine Snowboard Racers Qualify for World Cups and Jr. World Championships
Block C World Cups (Krynica POL, Spindleruv CZE and Winterberg GER):
Congratulations to Ben Heldman, Luke Hune, Carmen McRae and Cole Thomson (Winterberg only) who have been invited to race at the third block of World Cup races this season. This marks Cole’s first World Cup start, and the first outside Canada for Carmen and Luke.
Val St. Come World Cup:
Alpine Ski Club will once again make up more than 50% of the Canadian delegation for the VISA FIS Alpine Snowboarding World Cup PGS in Val St. Come on March 14 and 15. Congratulations to the following Alpine Ski Club riders for qualifying:

Jr. World Championships – Folgaria, Italy:
