Coach’s Corner

As we gear up for another exciting season, here are some quick tips from coach Steve to help you get off to the best start possible:

Before you head to the slopes, take a moment to try on all your gear before opening day. It’s the easiest way to make sure everything still fits and it gives you a chance to check over your outerwear, goggles, and helmet, for size, fit, and wear.

If you can get your skis or board tuned and waxed, even better! A pre-season tune-up not only gets your equipment performing at its best, but also ensures it’s been inspected by a trained professional. Starting the season with well-prepared gear makes those first turns feel even sweeter.

CASI Course Update

The CASI Level 1 course hosted by Alpine will now run December 20–22. We hope this new schedule makes it easier for students to attend without having to take the last day of school off.

If you’re interested in the snowboard teaching pathway, please contact Krista for more information.
