Boasting national-calibre coaches, Alpine is known for its advanced training programs designed to drive elite athletes forward in their selected disciplines.

Alpine is proud to offer elite racing and training programs in ski and snowboard.

Alpine Racing

U8-U21

Alpine Ski Club works closely with Alpine Canada and shares the goal of ensuring that any child entering the alpine ski racing system is provided every opportunity to experience the necessary building blocks in order to reach the desired highest levels of the sport.

Programs Include:

  • U8 Training Squad
  • U10 Weekend Program
  • U12 Weekend Program
  • U12 All-Inclusive
  • U14 Weekend Program (SOD)
  • U14 OCup
  • U16 Weekend Program (SOD)
  • U16 OCup
  • U19/U21 Weekend & FIS Extended Program
  • SOD Ski Team
  • National Ski Academy (NSA)

Adult (21 and older)

Adult racing programs are designed for all levels of racers from Fun & Glory with evenly matched teams, to Masters racing providing opportunities to compete against peers at neighbouring clubs.

Programs Include:

  • Fun & Glory House League
  • Interclub League Racing (Masters)

Snowboarding

Junior Competitive Snowboard (Freestyle)

Alpine Ski Club works closely with Ontario Snowboard and Canada Snowboard with the goal of ensuring that any child entering into the world of competitive freestyle snowboarding is provided every opportunity to experience the necessary building blocks in order to reach the desired highest levels of the sport.

Programs Include:

  • Snowboard Development Team – 7 to 14 years
  • GROMS Freestyle Snowboard Team – 10 to 14 years
  • Ontario Escarpment Snowboard Team | Provincial Freestyle – 10+ years

Junior Competitive Snowboard (Racing)

Alpine Ski Club works closely with Ontario Snowboard and Canada Snowboard with the goal of ensuring that any child entering into the world of competitive snowboard racing is provided every opportunity to experience the necessary building blocks in order to reach the desired highest levels of the sport.

Programs Include:

  • Comp Intro to Snowboard Racing (previously GROMS)
  • Junior High Performance Snowboard Racing (previously OEST)
  • High Performance Snowboard Racing (previously NORAM)

Freeski

Competitive Freeski

Alpine Ski Club works closely with Freestyle Skiing Ontario with the goal of ensuring that any child entering into the world of competitive freestyle skiing, from entry level competition with a pathway to provincial level competition, is provided every opportunity to experience the necessary building blocks in order to reach the desired highest levels of the sport.

Programs Include:

  • GROMS (Interclub) Freeski Team – 10 to 14 years
  • Ontario Escarpment Freeski Team – 10 to 17 years

Athlete Scholarship & Bursary Program

Alpine Ski Club is proud to support its athletes and firmly believes that excellence in either skiing or snowboarding should always be recognized. The club recognizes the dedication, passion, and skill required from each individual athlete to reach elite levels of our sports. As a result, Alpine sets aside funds available annually as scholarships and bursaries to support our athletes’ efforts. Not only is a portion of our regular fundraising contributions allocated to our elite athletes, but our members also have the opportunity to donate directly throughout the season for a chance to win free dues for a year!
