Snowboard/Freeski Club Championships Awards

End of Season Awards Ceremony:
Saturday, March 2 at 2:00pm in the Athletes’ Room 


Programs Basket Raffle

The annual Basket Raffle fundraiser will take place on March 2-3 weekend in the Georgian Room. Tickets will be available on March 2 from 10:00-4:00 and March 3 from 9:00-2:00. Our competitive ski and snowboard teams have put together some amazing baskets of goodies.
Winners will be announced at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 3. The big winner of the 51/49 Split will be announced at 3:30pm in Fireside Bar.


March Break Camps

There is still time to sign up for our awesome Snowboard/Freeski Camps – March 11-15:

MARCH BREAK INTRO TO FREESKI CAMP (Ages 7-14) For those that would like to give freeskiing a try. Grab those twin tips and learn the fundamental skills introduced in our freeski season programs.

FREESKI UNLIMITED CAMP (Ages 7-14) Intended for athletes who have participated in the regular season Training Squad Program or on the GROMS Competitive Team this season. Continue working on your skills throughout this 5-day camp, spending the week in the Terrain Park shredding and working on both old and new tricks.

FREERIDE CAMP (Ages 3-14) A fun March Break camp for all junior freeride enthusiasts. Groups will be determined by both age and ability. Our youngest participants must be able to snowboard from mid-station and are able to ride a chairlift with some assistance.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM CAMP (Ages 7+) Designed for Development Team participants to continue their training into the postseason, or for those considering joining the team next season.

GROMS FREESTYLE CAMP (Ages 10-14) Continue your training into the postseason or prepare for next season with fun & friendly skill development in the Terrain Park.

Light It Up! Programs Fundraiser

So far this season, our full efforts have netted us $55,223. Let’s keep the momentum building with more exciting fundraising opportunities coming up this weekend, our 51/49 Split and Basket Raffle.


Canada Snowboard RAD Camp

The Riders Advancement and Development Program (RAD Program) is a Canada Snowboard initiative that aims to provide development opportunities to all stages of athletes and coaches. Under technical leadership of Calynn Irwin, this Halfpipe Awareness and Development initiative will provide an introduction to halfpipe for athletes and coaches on Friday, March 8 following the Halfpipe Jr. Nationals competition at Alpine.


Pipe Jam & Ride for Jake

Join us Saturday, March 16 for the return of our annual Pipe Jam AND a global day to celebrate the legacy of Jake Burton Carpenter.  Wax your board or skis, hit the slopes, and have as much fun as possible!

She Shreds! Girls Freestyle Camp

On Sunday, March 17, Devils Glen will be hosting She Shreds! Girls Freestyle Ski/Snowboard one day camp. Featuring female coaches and lots of girl power to work on skill development together in the park.

9:15 Meet in the Guest Portable 
9:30 On Snow – Shred the Park 
11:30-12:45 Lunch – Pizza and Bracelet making 
12:45 Back on Snow head to the Park 
3:00 End of the day
