Sun Peaks Camp Update
We have had fantastic weather and conditions for technical free skiing and gate training this camp. All our campers are getting loads of miles under their belt. Everyone is taking advantage of the excellent conditions and making the most of it to prepare for the season ahead.
Today mother nature provided us with a foot of fresh snow for everyone to enjoy. Many of our athletes rented powder skis and I know everyone thoroughly enjoyed some much-deserved powder runs today.
Tomorrow will be our last day on snow and we will have all our teams getting in one more GS training session before we fly home on Friday.
Once again Sun Peaks has proved to be one of the best resort destinations for pre-season training!
Another fantastic camp for all our athletes! I am sure everyone had a memorable experience and is well prepared for a successful race season ahead!
Thank you to all our athletes, coaches and families for making this such a successful camp!
Tremblant Camp Update
We’re happy to report that our U8-U12 athletes are the most ALL-IN families you can find! They are keen to be first in line at the Gondola, beating the locals there for 8:15 before they even drop the rope!
Our past camps have taught us well, and we are enjoying getting back on our boards, and seeing quick progress to get back to where we left off last season! While it has been typical Tremblant visibility, the snow conditions have been fantastic.
We had our first day of gate training, and we managed a 4-hour block (instead of the normal 2-hour time slot they give us). Our enthusiastic athletes stepped it up, worked hard, and took advantage of the courses to fine tune their skills and timing.
We are excited after a Wednesday of free skiing the mountain, to jump back into gates tomorrow. We just wish our 5 days at Tremblant wouldn’t blur past so fast! Thank you parents for bringing your children out to Quebec. We hope you are having as much fun as your athletes are!
~Your Coaches, Ed, Kevin, Parker, Shayne & Tannis
