Our large, beautiful and luxurious pet-friendly house is available this New Year’s Week (Dec. 30 or 31- Jan. 7). It’s 15 minutes south of Thornbury, 5 minutes east of Ravenna, and 20-25 minutes east of Collingwood. The area is full of things to do in addition to the skiing (most clubs are 13-19 minutes away, and the top of Blue Mountain Resort is 15 minutes).
The open concept main living area is perfect for two families, branches or generations getting together. There are lots of sleeping options: main level primary (king bed, ensuite), downstairs bedroom with two doubles, sharing bathroom with downstairs bedroom with two singles, and huge upstairs guest suite with kitchenette and sitting area (king bed, ensuite). Plus there’s a large downstairs TV area to accommodate the kids, and a sitting room with a fireplace and a view.
The hot tub is four steps away from the breezeway door, making daily soaks easy. The kitchen has a Miele dishwasher, an induction range, and everything you could need for your week of cooking. (A Kitchen Aid stand mixer, slow cooker, juicer, waffle maker, raclette set, and an eclectic and fabulous mix of vintage china and silver.)
The house is on 32 acres, and you’re welcome to hike, snowshoe, backcountry XC ski, and — if the pond is frozen enough — make a skating rink.
