Our Club

Alpine Ski Club was founded in 1960 by an avid group of skiers who saw an opportunity in the wooded slopes of Blue Mountain. They envisioned a club where you'd get the most from your skiing, and where members could enjoy some of the finest conditions in Southern Ontario.

Four decades of development and many improvements later, Alpine has become the most exciting private ski club on the ridge.

Alpine takes full advantage of the rugged stretch of the Niagara Escarpment. Each of over 35 trails offers something different, from beginner to challenging expert runs. As well, Alpine's facilities include:

A range of 35 diverse trails, competition caliber super-pipe, top-to-bottom terrain park to the north and a novice friendly park at the top of Arrowhead.
An amazing variety of advanced terrain featuring ’The Steeps; five of the steepest groomed pitches in Southern Ontario

A Snow Program that excels in ski, race and snowboard programs, as well as customized private instruction
One of the most advanced high-speed six-person lifts ever designed, complemented by three quad chairs and a moving sidewalk, all providing an uphill capacity of 9,000 skiers and boarders per hour — more hill time without the crowds

The latest in computer-monitored snowmaking equipment, capable of covering 100% of skiable terrain, even under the least favourable weather conditions
The finest grooming equipment available, ensuring seamless corduroy conditions day after day, maintained by a highly-skilled team of professional operators. Our inventory including our Winch Cats purchased for expert grooming of the STEEPS double diamond runs and Zaugg Pipe Monster to contour and groom our competition level 1/2 pipe.

On-site pro shop providing ski, snowboard, snowblade and snowshoe rentals with knowledgeable, professional sales and service from Squire John's

Our Mission

Alpine, since its inception, has been a family oriented club dedicated to two primary goals; providing excellent skiing and snowboarding terrain with state-of-the-art facilities for our members and to fostering our family atmosphere.

Our Future

Over the past forty nine years, we've expanded in order to provide our members and guests more and better quality skiing and snowboarding. The Legacy outlines the future development of new facilities, trails and lift services over the next several years.
